Get Work Visa with Skyridge Immigration Consultants
If you’re a professional seeking to work in Canada, you need a work visa or permit to get a job. A work permit visa is provided to qualified foreign nationals to allow them to work in Canada for a set time. With a few exceptions, most international temporary workers require this legal document to work. Depending on your country of residence or citizenship, you may need a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV) to enter Canada.

Open Work Permit
The open work permit allows you to work for any employer in Canada except those who have violated employment standards or enterprises in the sex trade, such as strip clubs, escort services, or erotic massage parlors. Because an open work visa is not job-specific, you will not require a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) to apply for one.
The open work permit is intended for the spouses of international students studying in Canada. A student can also quickly obtain a work permit in Canada.

LMIA-Based Work Permit
An employer-specific work permit lawfully allows a foreign worker to work for one employer for a specific time frame. This sort of work permit provides the name of the employer you will work for and the duration and location of employment, if relevant.
It is also known as a closed work permit. It is contingent on a job offer from a Canadian employer and a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) demonstrating that no Canadian citizen or permanent resident is available to do the applicant’s job. This is a requirement for working in Canada.
